Our functional areas can help you discover new training techniques and exercises that offer a dynamic and efficient full-body workout. Functional training embraces movement rather than relying on equipment, so one thing you won't see in this area is machines!

Classes
At Fitness First, you can choose from five styles of classes, including:
Strength — Tone your physique and build muscle with strength classes at Fitness First. Work your lower body in Glute Gains or try our Fitness First exclusive SHRED, combining compound lifting with a HIIT-based class. There's a strength class for everyone!
Cardio — From HIIT to Freestyle Dance and Zumba, get ready to dive into a mix of cardio classes at Fitness First Oxford Circus. They'll get your blood pumping and your energy soaring!
Fight — Made to improve your endurance, core strength and self-defence techniques, explore fight classes at our gym. Give Boxercise, SPARR, and RoX a try for high-energy, stress-busting workouts!
Mind & Body — Treat yourself to some self-care and unwind with Mind & Body classes. Whether you're up for trying out new Yoga poses or want to relax with Meditation, there are lots of fantastic classes to choose from at Fitness First!
Cycle — Put yourself through your paces with cycle classes. Choose from sessions like Spin or RPM to push your limits.
Skill Zone
Cycle
Get ready to work up a sweat and burn a serious number of calories in our Cycle classes. Make use of our top-of-the-range indoor stationary bikes to build your endurance and strength, as well as focusing on interval training, high intensity (for race days!) and recovery.
